Article Summary
SmarterU SCORM courses are launched in a pop-up window. If your browser's pop-ups are disabled, and the SCORM course is configured to open in a new window, you'll need to change your browser's settings to allow pop-ups to launch the course.
To allow pop-ups from SmarterU in Chrome:
- Launch your SCORM course. A message displays indicating that a popup was blocked.
- Click the
icon displayed in the upper right corner of the browser window. The window displays the pop-up for your SCORM course that was blocked.
- Select the Always allow pop-ups from option.
If a different domain is referenced in the window above, you'll still want to allow pop-ups from the domain.
- Click Done.
- From the Popup Blocker Detected window, click Launch Course.
- Attempt to launch your SCORM course again. Repeat steps 2-5 until you've allowed all pop-ups necessary to launch your SCORM course.
- If you are unable to disable pop-up blockers, you should contact your organization's IT department for support.
- You can also refer to Chrome's help for information on allowing pop-ups.
