On its own, the View Account Groups account permission does NOT grant the user permission to dashboards and functionality throughout the system. Refer to the specific dashboard or functionality for details on other permissions required for access.
The View Account Groups account permission enables a user to view all groups in the account. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Selecting a group during the enrollment process provided they have permission to enroll users. Refer to Enrolling Users for details on the permissions required for access.
- Assigning groups to a course provided they have permission to edit the course's groups. Refer to Editing an Instructor-Led Course, Editing an Online Course, or Editing a SCORM Course, for details on the permissions required for access.
- Assigning groups to a user provided they have permission to edit the user. Refer to Editing a User for details on the permissions required for access.
- Filtering a report provided they have a reporting permission.
