Copying a Course's Content Slide

If you've purchased a course template package, each content slide in the Course Template Package course is a template with a specific layout. The HTML of each content slide controls the template’s layout and formatting.

Copying the HTML from a content slide in the Course Template Package course to a content slide in your course enables you to include the template in your course.

Once the content slide has been added to a course, you can duplicate it within the course to use the layout. 

Copying a Template

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Be sure that you’ve added an online course and a content slide that is named for the template you’re copying. Be sure that the content slide that you’ve added to your course is named for the template you will be copying.

To copy a template from the Course Template Package course to your course:

1. From the Course Template Package course, copy the HTML of the template’s content slide by doing the following:

   1. Click anywhere in the HTML Editor tab of the template’s content slide.

   2. Press CTRL+A to select all of the HTML.

   3. Press CTRL+C to copy the HTML.

2. From your course, replace your content slide’s HTML by doing the following:

   1. Click anywhere in the HTML Editor tab of your course’s content slide.

   2. Press CTRL+A to select all of the existing HTML.

   3. Press CTRL+V to replace the existing HTML with the HTML of the template’s content slide.

   4. Click Save.

3. Confirm that the content slides look identical by selecting the Preview tab for the content slide in the Course Template Package course and the content slide in your course.
