Tags

Tags are keywords that you can associate with courses, knowledge base items (i.e., articles and files), groups, and subscriptions. They provide a way to identify related objects. Within a tag, you can add values to further identify associated objects.

For example, Fina Shoes might create a products tag that can be associated with a variety of objects. The products tag might have the values footwear, handbags, hosiery, scarves, umbrellas, and wallets. 

Fina's products tag is associated with several different courses, groups, knowledge base articles and files, and subscriptions as shown below.

Each of these objects can be assigned one or more values to further identify it within the tag.

Tags are managed using the Tag Management Dashboard.
