Structured templates enable you to define the available description labels when a user adds an article that uses the template. In the example below, the template has several description labels:
- Before You Go
- About the Office
- Surrounding Area
- Where to Stay
When users add an article using this template, they can enter the text for these description labels.
On the learner interface the description labels display as headings to the user. The text entered in the article below its corresponding label.
Adding Description Labels
To add a description label to an article template:
- From the Add/Edit Template workscreen, expand the Descriptions accordion.
- Click Description. A new Label field displays.
- In the Label field, enter the label.
- Repeat steps 2-3 for each description label you would like to add to the template.
- Click Save.
Re-ordering Description Labels
To change the display order of description labels:
- From the Add/Edit Template workscreen, expand the Descriptions accordion.
- Click the for the label you would like to re-order.
- Drag the label to its new position.
- Click Save.
Removing Description Labels
To remove an description label from an article template:
- From the Add/Edit Template workscreen, expand the Descriptions accordion.
- Click the displayed beside the label you would like to remove.
- Click Save.
