In order to use this feature, be sure to enable external authorization for your account.
Single sign-on allows your users to use one login to access SmarterU from a third-party provider such as Okta or Active Directory. Not only does this make it easier for your users to access SmarterU, but it also provides a more seamless integration with your third-party SSO provider.
Setting up single sign-on requires you to do the following:
Configuring SmarterU for SSO
In order to allow single sign-on from a third-party system to SmarterU, you'll need to enable external authorization for your account.
Third-Party Providers
Once external authorization is enabled for your account, you can refer to the following pages for information on setting up SmarterU to support the following third-party SSO providers:
- Active Directory Federation Services
- Azure Active Directory B2C
- Google OpenID
- GSuite
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Okta
- SAASPASS
- Salesforce
- SAML 2.0
- SmarterU API
Any SAML 2.0 compatible identity provider with IDP-initiated SSO should function. The list above includes providers that we have tested and verified.
