Inactive records are related to any object (e.g. course, group, learning plan, user, etc...) that has its status set to Inactive.
In order to preserve the history of any actions or records, SmarterU does not allow you to delete records.
In general, you can view inactive records by clicking the 
in the left pane of the dashboard and selecting Inactive:
