SmarterU enables you to manage online, instructor-led courses, and SCORM courses. You can add and edit all course types using the Courses Dashboard.
Online courses are taken by learners through SmarterU's learner interface. Each online course consists of tasks that learners must complete. You can add and edit an online course's content using the Course Builder Dashboard.
In order for learners to see their enrolled courses or the course catalog in the learner interface, be sure to configure a course page in their dashboard set.
Instructor-led courses are those courses that are taught by a trainer and offered outside of SmarterU. Instructor-led courses may either take place at a specific physical location, or online (e.g., webinar).
SCORM courses are courses that are developed with a product such as Captivate, Camtasia, or Storyline, then published to a format that can be uploaded to SmarterU.
Online, instructor-led, and SCORM courses can be combined to create a hybrid learning environment.
