SmarterU makes it easy for you to automatically enroll group users in the group's courses. This includes courses that are assigned to the group, and courses that are associated with subscription variants that group users might be enrolled in.

For example, you may want to ensure that all users added to the Manufacturing group are enrolled in the Safety in the Workplace course. Or, you may want to ensure that group users enrolled in the Business Partners subscription variant are also enrolled in all of the courses included in the subscription. 

After you've automated group enrollments, the Enrollment Automation Report email will be sent to the specified recipients once a day at 2 a.m. CDT. The Enrollment Automation Report includes all enrollments performed during the previous day. If a user's Enable Email Notifications setting is checked, SmarterU also sends the Course Enrollment email to the user or the specified recipient

Automating Group Enrollments

To automate group enrollments:

  1. To include a course in a group's automated enrollments, 
    1. Assign the course to the group
    2. Enable the Auto setting for each course you want to include in the process. 
  2. To include a subscription variant's course in a group's automated enrollments:
    1. Add the course to the subscription
    2. Add a variant to the subscription.
    3. Enable the Auto setting for each variant course you want to include in the process.
    4. Enroll the group's users in the subscription variant.
  3. Check the account's Enable Group Enrollment Automation setting.
