    Course discussions enable users to participate in an online discussion forum. When discussions are enabled for an online, instructor-led, or SCORM course, anyone who can view the course details will be able to view, participate in, or subscribe to the course's discussion.

    Learners have the opportunity to add comments to a discussion and may also subscribe to discussions. When you subscribe to a discussion, the discussion is available in the message center and you will be notified when there are new discussion comments. 

    Discussions must be enabled for the account and for the course or session.
