SmarterU's licensing feature enables you to track licenses and certifications issued by agencies. Categories provide a way to organize and track learners' continuing education units (CEUs) for an agency's license. For example, the Agency of Financial Management may require learners who are pursuing the Certified Public Bookkeeper license to earn CEUs in four different categories:

By defining these categories in SmarterU, you can associate the category to relevant courses. As learners complete the courses, you'll be able to track how many points (or CEUs) they've earned toward each category of the license.
