IP restrictions enable you to specify the IP addresses that are allowed to access the SmarterU account.

When you edit your account's settings, the IP Restrictions accordion of the Account Profile workscreen includes the following settings.

Adding an IP Restriction

To add IP addresses that are allowed to access your account:

  1. Edit your account settings
  2. Expand the IP Restrictions accordion.
  3. If the Enable IP Restrictions checkbox is not checked, check it.
  4. Specify the settings for the IP address. If you have already specified an IP address in the past, click IP Address to specify additional IP addresses.

  1. Click Save.

Settings

Be sure to click Save after changing these settings.

Enable IP Restrictions

If checked, users can only log in from the IP addresses that you specify. 

Administrators and owners will be able to access SmarterU from any IP address.

IP Address

Enter the IP address from which users may access SmarterU.  

Note

You may enter an optional note about the IP address.
